KIDS TURN OUT ON MASS TO MEET SNOOKER LEGEND, DENNIS TAYLOR.
Smiling Irishman, Dennis Taylor, proved to be a star attraction when he appeared as part of the Paul Hunter Foundation road shows in Preston and Lancaster recently.

Commissioned as part of Lancashire County Council's Young Peoples Services targeted youth support programme, both programmes are delivered over a ten week period with the Dennis Taylor day, an integral part of the youngsters' experiences.

TVs, Ipods and games were on offer as prizes as well as everyone receiving a cue and case financed by current World Champion, John Higgins.

The Preston event was attended by County Councillor, Mark Perks.

On behalf of the Foundation, Chris Lovell said, "It was a remarkable day with 45 kids coming to the YMCA and 90 to Lancaster and of the 90, 25 were girls. A really special day for snooker and for the memory of Paul. We now focus our attention on the Paul Hunter day, which is the middle Sunday of the World Championships in Cue Zone, which is situated in the Winter Gardens. Can we also take the opportunity to thank all the team for the hard work and all the people at YPS and the venues for the support.
