Lewis Ullah's story

HOW THE FOUNDATION HELPED ME
My eldest brother, Jordan Ullah, played snooker since I was born, so I have always been around snooker. When I was two I went to Pontins, Prestatyn with my mum, dad and brother Jordan. By the time I was five I watched enough and wanted to play in competitions and stuff like my brother, so I told my dad and he said that there was nowhere that would let a 5 year old play. I was gutted. I wanted to play and no-one was interested. Youngest competitor was eight. Anyway then my dad was reading the Telegraph and he saw an advert by NLTG and Chris Lovell for the Paul Hunter Foundation so he range David who says “I spoke to Chris Lovell, Lewis turned six, I asked him if it would be okay if Lewis came and he was very welcoming and his team around him were superb with Lewis and this has catapulted him into a little star in the snooker world.
As a family we had lost our eldest son Jordan and the Foundation and Chris Lovell, Steve Davis and their team have helped a lot of families by using snooker as a vehicle to help kids of all ages, races, disabilities and I have personally seen communities coming together. Through Chris and Steve the Paul Hunter Foundation and team’s hard work and commitment is paying off on youngsters’ attitudes. Snooker teaches a man/woman to become a lady/gentleman (to say good shot to your opponent). Lewis has now started to try and raise money for the Foundation. He wants to get the Gold aware £3000. So far he has raised £827. He has achieved the Bronze award already and with the help of Chris Lovell, Steve Davis, The Foundation, NLTG we may just get there. Some of the events Chris runs are simply amazing, leaving kids with a smile (priceless). Thanks.
